  This Jackson-Hewitt was unprofessional and amazingly inaccurate when it came to tax law. My husband and I recently used this Jackson-Hewitt to file for our taxes jointly for the first time. We thought we would benefit from the help of a professional. However, there were no professionals to be found here. Only young people who had obviously been trained to use software and not on actual tax law. The young lady who "assisted" us could not answer any questions we had and filed our taxes incorrectly even after my husband pointed it out. When he revisited the lady with further backup information from the IRS that showed he was correct, the employees still refused to listen and began yelling at my husband because the girl helping us had a whole "3 years of experience" so she must have known more than us. While looking over our taxes to correct this problem, my husband found another. All in all, they almost cost us an extra $1300 on our returns. And this was after they charged us $170 and then another arbitrary $60 for printing out forms. When we pointed this out, their response was to point out that others have paid more, which made no sense at all. We contacted the regional manager to correct our taxes and she refused to help. We ended up having to contact corporate to fix our claim and making 4 visits to the local office. And on our last visit, our corporate help told us to go back just to sign documentation they had corrected and the same young lady took over an hour just to let us sign the documents even though no one else was there.
